About The Position
We are hiring a local delivery driver to support our daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. Training is provided. This role involves driving a delivery truck with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight (GVW), and loading/unloading product at customer locations for established routes by driving a box truck or tractor-trailer.
Requirements
- Familiar with Encompass handheld database software.
- Valid Class C/D driver’s license meeting acceptable criteria.
- Must pass the background check, motor vehicle driver check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities
- Service customers assigned to the route based on the scheduled time-stopped ranking.
- Adapt to any changes in work assignments as well as support organizational restructuring efforts.
- Follow accounts receivable guidelines set by the trade/customer when checking in orders (DSD, PO#, Military, Receipt, or Stamp) with the customer.
- Place the product in our designated area and/or move the pallet display directly to the floor.
- Pick up all shells/flats, returned pallets, and damaged or out-of-date products.
- Merchandise assigned stops as scheduled per management.
- Communicate issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales team and delivery team.
- Follow all company policies and procedures set forth by management.
