About The Position

The primary function of this position is to fulfill customer orders by performing general shipping and receiving tasks, such as loading, unloading, checking, and storing material and making deliveries to local customers (Non-CDL). This role involves stocking materials in the warehouse, pulling inventory for deliveries and customer pickups, and using powered equipment for these tasks. The associate will also be responsible for accurate inventory counts and delivering products to local customers while adhering to DOT guidelines and regulations. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass drug test and background verifications.
• Must hold active DOT Medical Card.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Active Listening skills.

• Time Management skills.
• Critical Thinking skills.
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Ability to observe, receive, and obtain information from all relevant sources.
• Ability to provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
• Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
• Ability to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
• Ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
• Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. regularly.
• Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
• Ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Properly and safely stock materials in our warehouse.
• Pull inventory for deliveries and customer pickups.
• Use powered equipment to pull inventory and load and unload trucks for deliveries.
• Accurately complete inventory counts.
• Deliver products to local customers (non-CDL) following DOT guidelines and regulations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
