About The Position

Starmark is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Service Center Commercial Driver who takes pride in providing exceptional service and being the face of our company on the road. This part-time role involves local delivery routes within 150 miles, typically 10-12 stops per day, 1 to 3 days a week. The position offers a white-glove service environment with meaningful customer relationships, independence on the road with team support, and opportunities for growth. Forklift training and certification are provided.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License (Class A CDL capable) and clean driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Comfortably using GPS routing tools and mobile technology with a reliable smart phone
• Lift up to 75 pounds
• Operate lift gates and pallet jacks for loading and unloading freight
• Sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and move constantly throughout the workday
• Work in warehouse and delivery environments

Responsibilities

• Safely transport Starmark funeral products to funeral homes throughout your territory
• Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries with professional service
• Verify orders before loading and upon delivery
• Collect signatures, payments, and maintain delivery documentation
• Serve as the primary face of Starmark during deliveries
• Create positive experiences through professionalism and communication
• Support customer needs and help resolve issues when they arise
• Develop long-term relationships built on trust and reliability
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Secure shipments using proper equipment and procedures
• Help prepare next-day orders and specialized packaging
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after routes
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Maintain a clean driving record and commitment to safe driving
