Non-CDL Box Truck Owner Operator
About The Position
RAS Logistics is seeking independent contractors with a 26-foot box truck and a driver-and-helper team to deliver appliances and home goods to customers’ homes on local routes. Routes are home daily, with steady volume Monday through Saturday. The advertised average is $750 per completed route at this location, and settlements are weekly. Route length and actual earnings vary; earnings are not guaranteed and are gross revenue before business expenses. Contractors operate their own businesses and are responsible for licensing, insurance, equipment, safety, and regulatory requirements. RAS Logistics offers established customer accounts, operations and onboarding support, and opportunities to add trucks and teams.
Requirements
- Have a registered business entity, such as an LLC or corporation.
- Maintain an active USDOT number and MC authority.
- Provide a 26-foot box truck with a liftgate, owned or leased.
- Provide a two-person team consisting of a driver and helper.
- Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record; no CDL is required.
- Have appliance delivery and installation experience.
- Have delivery and installation tools.
- Maintain auto liability, general liability, cargo, and workers’ compensation insurance.
- Meet onboarding and qualification requirements.
