About The Position

PDX Movers is seeking 5-10 Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers and Movers for full-time and part-time positions. This role is highly active, offers weekly pay, and involves working with a solid crew. The position is suitable for experienced drivers who are not afraid of a physical workday and can operate safely. There are opportunities for both standard Mover-Driver roles and Lead Driver positions, with the latter qualifying for a higher starting pay scale due to additional responsibilities in crew management and on-site paperwork.

Requirements

• 5+ years of U.S. driving experience.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR.
• Must meet all D.O.T. standards.
• Able to pass a background check (per OAR codes).
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to pass a medical exam.
• Able to pass a physical abilities test.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift and carry items (100+ lbs, stairs, etc.) alongside the crew.
• Dependable and able to show up ready to roll for shifts starting at 7:30 AM sharp.

Nice To Haves

• Moving experience is not required as full training is provided.
• Willingness to volunteer for optional overnight opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Safely navigating and operating 26’ box trucks around the Portland metro area.
• Working as part of a solid crew to wrap, load, and protect customer belongings.
• Assisting with local, residential, and commercial moves from start to finish.
• Managing the crew and paperwork on-site (for Lead Driver roles).
