About The Position

AWH Logistics, LLC is seeking experienced Non-CDL NIGHTTIME bench drivers for daily delivery AND warehouse duties in Garfield Heights, OH. This is a home daily/weekends off driving career with great pay, wonderful bonuses and an amazing team to work for. The route runs Tuesday through Saturday, with a start time varying between 10:00 PM and 3:00 AM. Flexibility to work nights as needed is required. This route pays $900-$1,250 weekly.

Requirements

Must be 21 years old.
Verifiable commercial driving 24'-26' experience required.
Familiarity of DOT & FMCSA Regulations.
Air brake experience required.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Must have valid DOT Medical Card.
Will need to pass a road test.
Must consent to a MVR, criminal background check and drug screen (AWH Logistics, LLC must receive a negative result).
FMCSA Clearinghouse – (CDL Holders) Must consent to annual/limited queries and hold a Not Prohibited status.
Ability to safely climb into the truck box with/without the lift gate.
Ability to safely lift 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

Help Unload: Watch all trucks unloaded by drivers – confirming trucks are unloaded completely.
Report any freight that is brought back to the dock (e.g., misload freight, freight not delivered, or anything the driver failed to communicate to management).
Manage pallet jacks & stoppers left in trucks.
Count all totes & empties coming off the trucks (verify physical count vs route sheet) & communicate any variances to management.
Follow up with drivers as needed to ensure compliance on the routesheet.
Turn in route sheet to dispatch after checking in on the dock.
