About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced NodeJS Architect with a strong background in building scalable applications. This role involves full ownership of software architecture, design, and development, with a focus on backend microservices and API development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Node.js, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, HTML, responsive design, single-page architecture, and RESTful API development. Experience with various emerging and traditional technologies, including Java Spring Boot, NGINX, Kubernetes, Express, Chef, Docker, NoSQL databases, Git, and AWS services, is crucial.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building applications using Node.js, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, and HTML.
• 7+ years of experience in Responsive design, Single page architecture.
• At least 7 years of experience developing RESTful APIs.
• 4+ years of experience with a Junit, Selenium, Cucumber JS unit testing library (JEST, Mocha).
• Experience in emerging and traditional technologies such as: Node.js, REST, JSON, Java Spring Boot, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, Selenium, NGINX, Kubernetes, Express, Chef, Docker, NoSQL databases and Git/GitHub/Bitbucket.
• Hands-on backend microservices & API development using Node.js, REST, JSON, Docker, NoSql databases and Tomcat with full ownership of software architecture, design and development.
• Experience with AWS services such as Cloud Formation Templates, S3, EC2, Lambda, Route53, CloudFront, API Gateway(Apigee).

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of software architecture, design, and development for backend microservices & API.

• Leveraging AWS services including Cloud Formation Templates, S3, EC2, Lambda, Route53, CloudFront, and API Gateway (Apigee).
