Nocturnist MD/DO
About The Position
Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking recent graduates and experienced Nocturnists to join its growing program at Hartford Hospital, an 867-bed academic medical center in central Connecticut. The Hospital Medicine service supports a team-based inpatient care model with a reasonable patient census. The position offers opportunities for professional development in academics, research, and leadership, with support from the HHC Provider Leadership Development Institute and Office of Provider Wellness. This is a full-time, salaried position with shifts from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The schedule includes 12 shifts per month, including two weekends per month on Friday and Saturday nights. The other eight shifts may be selected based on availability and division needs. Compensation is described as highly competitive, with quality and productivity incentives; actual pay depends on qualifications, location, internal equity, and other factors.
Requirements
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

- Experience as a Nocturnist; recent graduates are also invited to apply.
