About The Position
Established hospitalist program seeks another Nocturnist. The inpatient team consists of 6 physicians, 1 APP, and experienced support staff. The schedule can be either (3) 14-hour shifts per week or (6) 14-hour shifts every other week. The hospitalist program provides care to an open-ICU with support provided by a tele-intensivist service. The average nightly admission is 6, and ICU procedures include vent management, lumbar puncture, and central lines. The hospital services over 50K residents and offers a family birthing center, 24-hr ER, plus medical imaging and diagnostics departments. The area provides a variety of school options, special/cultural events, year-round outdoor/water activities, shopping, dining, and is accessible to all the major attractions located in Wilmington.
Requirements
- Must be a Nocturnist.
- Ability to perform vent management, lumbar puncture, and central lines.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in an open-ICU with support from a tele-intensivist service.
