About The Position

Iris Telehealth is actively hiring Nocturnist Consult-Liaison Psychiatrists to support emergency department and inpatient teams with high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations—all from the comfort of your home. This is a 100% remote position focused on consult-liaison psychiatry for inpatient, emergency department, and ER settings, serving patients aged 5+ in ER settings. The role involves NP supervision and offers flexibility with weekend shifts now requiring only 1-2 days per month. Requirements

Active medical license, IMLC Letter of Qualification is a plus.
Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry.
Board Certification Required.
At least 2 years of post-residency consult-liaison experience.
Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 5+ for ED/ER consults.
Comfortable working with multiple health systems and varying acuity levels.
Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations to emergency department and inpatient teams.
Conduct 100% remote consults for IP/ER/ED.
Treat patients of all ages, with a preference for ages 5+ in ER settings.
Work 13-16 shifts per month, including 1-2 weekend shifts per month.
Collaborate with highly trained Iris PMHNPs.
Deliver impactful care to underserved communities.
Work with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to transforming mental health care.
