About The Position

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our Nocturnal Hospitalist team. Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligible for or active Maine medical license
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight hours
• Admit patients from the emergency department
• Cross-cover and manage existing hospitalized patients
• Respond to overnight clinical changes and rapid responses
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and care teams
• Ensure thorough documentation and effective handoffs
