Nocturnist Anesthesiologist - HCA Southeast Houston - $600(k) for 26 Weeks of Service
About The Position
We’re looking for a service-oriented Nocturnist Anesthesiologist to join the team at HCA Southeast Houston in Pasadena, TX. Located within the greater Houston metro area, HCA Southeast Houston is a multi-specialty hospital that offers a broad scope of medical services. This position offers a schedule of M-F arriving at 3pm to supervise cases until 7pm, then taking over cases from 7pm until completion (typically 9-10pm) with call from home. Weekends involve alternating primary and backup call, with 8 weekends of primary 24-hour call from home for the OR, and the remaining weekends as backup call for OB. The facility is a Level III trauma center with acute case types including Neuro, General, GI, Ortho, Gynecology, Urology, Radiology, and Vascular.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Recent experience in a level III trauma facility or above (within one year)
- Proficiency in managing patients undergoing neurosurgery
Responsibilities
- Supervise cases from 3pm to 7pm on weekdays.
- Complete cases from 7pm onwards on weekdays, with call from home.
- Alternate primary and backup call on weekends.
- Provide 24-hour primary call from home for OR cases on assigned weekends.
- Serve as backup call for OB on remaining weekends.
- Manage patients undergoing neurosurgery.
- Provide anesthesia care in a Level III trauma center.
