The NOC Engineer will provide frontline operational support for client network and telecommunications services. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years Experience in network and/or telecommunications operations
- Familiarity with Cisco routing, switching, wireless, and collaboration platforms
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk or SolarWinds
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree (preferred)
- minimum 4 years of experience in a technical role (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provides frontline operational support for client network and telecommunications services.
- Monitor environments using client approved tools
- Acknowledge alerts and create ITSM tickets
- Perform initial troubleshooting using SOPs
- Escalate incidents as required
- Maintain accurate ticket documentation
- Support major incident communications
- Contribute to reporting and knowledge updates
