SMX is seeking a mid-level NMCI POC in support of our NAWCAD customer at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. This role involves creating and maintaining customer relations, managing employee and seat order data within the NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET) or other NMCI ordering systems, and ensuring effective communication with other NMCI POCs. The position requires following procedures for CLIN ordering, maintaining a working knowledge of NET procedures, and staying familiar with NAVAIR NMCI resources. Collaboration with managers, financial approvers, and the NAVAIR CTR Team is essential to ensure cost-effective and accurate seat orders. The role also includes responding to data calls, maintaining local records, assisting customers with equipment and documentation obstacles, and elevating issues to the NAVAIR CTR Team as needed. Responsibilities extend to verifying software licenses for legacy applications, reporting changes or emerging requirements, ensuring RDT&E equipment meets requirements, and keeping co-workers informed about NMCI status. Attendance at meetings, including the NMCI War Room and site-specific POC meetings, is required. The position also involves maintaining knowledge of MAC policies and procedures, ensuring users document problems with the NMCI Help Desk, and elevating unsolvable end-user problems. Additional duties include assisting with Outlook issues, printer/copier maintenance, MAC requests, SAAR/SAAR-N forms, data migration, backups, asset validation, providing technical assistance for software, hardware, and connectivity, assisting with audio-visual equipment and conference room set-ups, workstation set-ups, maintaining distribution lists and permissions, and coordinating with the Base Telephone Office for phone and mobile device requirements.
