About The Position

The Nissan Automotive Technician Apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced service technicians to learn and develop the skills necessary to diagnose, maintain, and repair Nissan vehicles. This entry-level position is designed for individuals eager to start a career in the automotive service industry, with a focus on Nissan’s specific systems, tools, and technologies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (automotive trade school or coursework preferred).
Strong interest in automotive technology and mechanical systems.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and shop safety practices.
Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and maintain attention to detail.
Must have a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening is required.

Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians in performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Nissan vehicles.
Learn to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using Nissan-approved diagnostic tools and procedures.
Support in the installation and repair of parts and components in accordance with factory specifications.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Attend and complete all required Nissan training programs to progress toward certification.
