About The Position

We are seeking a Full-Time Night Yard / Dock Associate for our location in Brewster, NY. This role is responsible for coordinating night loading, ensuring safety and compliance, maintaining records, collaborating for efficiency, and supporting food safety. The shift is Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 5:30 AM. The pay rate is $20 - $22 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and concisely in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Basic math skills.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to work the assigned night shift schedule (hours may vary) at a constant, rapid pace.
Adhere to all safety and company policies.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in warehouse operations, yard, dock operations, or a related field.
Strong understanding of safe food handling practices.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate truck door assignments and loading/departure status between warehouse staff and night yard personnel.
Ensure truck doors are securely closed following safety protocols and conduct visual inspections for safe departure.
Report any safety or equipment issues.
Accurately log truck arrivals, departures, and door assignments.
Work proactively with teams to minimize loading times and resolve potential delays.
Assist with quality control procedures and maintain a sanitary work environment.
Notify management of any food safety concerns.
