Night Warehouse Supervisor - Bilingual (English/Spanish)
About The Position
Wood Fruitticher Grocery Company is hiring a bilingual Night Warehouse Supervisor for its overnight leadership team in Irondale, Alabama. Reporting to the Night Warehouse Manager and working alongside other night supervisors, this hands-on role oversees the accurate and timely pulling, loading, and replenishment of products. The supervisor directs and supports warehouse employees, communicates professionally in English and Spanish, and maintains a visible presence on the warehouse floor to uphold safety and accuracy standards. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until work is completed. The position involves working in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse, including refrigerated and freezer areas. Offers are contingent on a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Requirements
- Professional-level fluency in both English and Spanish, including the ability to supervise, train, coach, and hold detailed conversations in either language, and to read and write work documents in both. Fluency will be assessed during the interview process.
- Prior supervisory or management experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a supervisory team in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to meet the essential physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing and walking for most of the shift on concrete floors and occasionally lifting up to 90 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Supervise night-shift warehouse employees, including pullers, loaders, and forklift operators, in the assigned area.
- Ensure orders are filled accurately and products are loaded on time for distribution.
- Oversee and verify proper inventory replenishment by forklift operators.
- Train and retrain employees in English and Spanish to maintain productivity and safety standards.
- Monitor the facility for safety concerns and address issues promptly.
- Maintain a visible presence on the warehouse floor to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with the Night Warehouse Manager and fellow supervisors to keep the shift running smoothly.
