Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Night Warehouse Supervisor based out of our Madison, WI Headquarters. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 5 locations. Starting at 5 PM and going until the work is complete. This position will report up to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for supervising a group of warehouse employees. Assigning tasks as necessary to ensure that work is complete and proper usage of available resources. This role will assist in shipping/receiving, loading and unloading of trucks, and checking-in merchandise. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse supervisory experience, collaborate effectively and professionally with the team, and will lead by example.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2-4 years of related experience
• Previous Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required
• Must be a self-directed individual with the ability to read and interpret company documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Must have the ability to perform basic math calculations
• Obtain licensure to operate warehouse equipment within the first 30 days

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate warehouse equipment at all times and follow all safety guidelines
• Maintain a warehouse that is accessible and safe for company personnel and LFF visitors
• Read pick tickets and/or requisitions to select and assemble product for customer orders
• Implement established food safety practices throughout all warehouse employees
• Assign tasks as necessary to ensure that work is complete and proper usage of available resources
• Assist in shipping/receiving, loading and unloading of trucks, and checking-in merchandise
• Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required
