Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent/related experience.
  • At least 2 years of related experience in Warehouse Operations or an equivalent role.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification to operate various Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and other warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Performing a combination of selecting, loading, product handling, and warehouse equipment operations to support efficient distribution center operations.
  • Ensuring outbound products are loaded accurately, inspected for quality, and properly staged or stored to maintain inventory integrity and compliance with company safety, quality and operational standards.
  • Loading outbound freight, verifying product counts and condition, and preparing inventory for storage and warehouse distribution activities.
  • Operating forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to move, stage, and store products safely and efficiently.
  • Providing cross-functional support across warehouse operations and assisting with additional operational tasks as needed to maintain workflow efficiency and support order fulfillment activities.
  • Receiving outbound inventory and verifying product quantities, condition, and date codes to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
  • Inputting inventory data into warehouse systems, including product counts and date code information.
  • Identifying and reporting receiving discrepancies such as damage, shortages, overages, or items not listed on purchase orders.
  • Communicating with Purchasing and supervisors to resolve receiving issues and determine product disposition.
  • Complying with HACCP guidelines, including incoming goods inspections and critical control point monitoring.
  • Unloading and transporting palletized inventory within warehouse storage areas according to operational procedures.
  • Performing pre-operation equipment inspections and following all company safety procedures when operating warehouse equipment.
  • Maintaining awareness of warehouse traffic patterns and safety practices to ensure safe product movement.
  • Assisting with warehouse organization to maintain efficient operational workflows.
  • Supporting overall warehouse operations and performing additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Using the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as guiding principles.
  • Independently pulling orders across all assigned zones using the voice system and a pallet jack or sit-down / high-reach forklift, consistently meeting productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Building well-organized, stable, correctly sequenced, damage-free pallets with minimal rework.
  • Independently assembling and staging orders accurately to support timely final check and loading.
  • Accurately marking and labeling materials and verifying that identifying information is correct and complete.
  • Independently weighing or counting and verifying conformance, catching discrepancies before they move forward.
  • Consistently inspecting and ensuring products selected are free from damage and infestation, and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Compiling accurate storage and selection data for daily reports independently.
  • Independently preparing and labeling pallets for shipping accurately and completely.
  • Consistently applying safety, food-handling, and date-rotation procedures and modeling safe practices.
