About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Night Warehouse Laborer in the Albuquerque, NM area. This position involves loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse. The role requires a high degree of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The employee will be exposed to loud noise, outside weather conditions, combustibles, large machinery, and mechanical parts. Responsibilities include operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, reading work orders, conveying materials, counting units, stacking and wrapping materials, and performing housekeeping duties. The company is a distributor of various beverages including Miller, Coors, and Red Bull.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
Ability to learn how to operate a pallet jack and forklift.
Availability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds as needed.
Capable of meeting the physical requirements of this job, including standing, lifting, bending, carrying.
Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and regular drug screens.

Responsibilities

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.
Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, hand truck and/or electric pallet jack.
Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
Loads materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Conveys materials from storage sites to designated loading area.
Counts and records number of units of materials moved or handled, breakage and spoilage on appropriate sheets.
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases and other containers.
Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and wraps bundles together.
Performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance warehouse and sales center offices.
Wears Company provided uniform and safety equipment.
