About The Position

As a member of the C&S Wholesale Grocers family of companies, SpartanNash is a food solutions company that distributes grocery and household goods through a global supply chain network. The Night Stock Associate works independently to display and stock products in the store and contribute to its financial best interest. The role also supports guest experience and follows company safety and food safety guidelines. The associate may be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. The position is based at 810 N Shoop Ave, Wauseon, Ohio 43567-1814. It involves working in a typical retail store environment with varied temperatures and exposure to outside weather conditions. Travel requirements vary by assignment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Retail or related experience preferred.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
Basic mathematical skills.
Detail oriented.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
Fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves, cases, and displays on the sales floor.
Notify the manager when products and supplies need to be ordered.
Maintain familiarity with products carried in the departments and their locations in the store.
Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines.
Maintain clean, attractive, and well-stocked departments.
Follow PPE and safety guidelines.
Follow food safety and cleaning expectations.
Follow guest experience guidelines.
Perform tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs when assigned.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
