About The Position

The Night Staff Housing Security Officer role is designed for individuals who excel during the night and take pride in ensuring community safety. This position involves being a constant, watchful presence across the employee housing campus during overnight hours. Responsibilities include patrolling the grounds, responding to any issues that arise, and providing residents with peace of mind while they sleep. The role is typically quiet, as the goal is for the security presence to be unobtrusive when the job is done well. This role covers overnight shifts from Friday through Sunday, approximately 6:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is a world-class facility on the Oregon Coast, known for its exceptional golf courses, diverse dining options, and commitment to guest experience. Requirements

Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple priorities with little direct supervision.
Clear written and in-person communication skills.
Ability to write coherent incident reports and communicate professionally with tenants, coworkers, and law enforcement.
Reliable and steady with a positive attitude and professional presence.
Experience in security, corrections, or law enforcement is a plus.
Valid Oregon driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must pass a background check and a drug test.

Responsibilities

Patrol designated housing areas throughout the night, maintaining a visible and reassuring presence.
Respond quickly to emergency calls and security concerns, taking appropriate action.
Coordinate with night resort security for full coverage.
Write clear incident reports and coordinate with management and HR for issue tracking and resolution.
Partner with local law enforcement when necessary, sharing information.
Conduct regular foot patrols and maintain a consistent presence in tenant areas to prevent problems.
