About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Monitor and operate plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. Perform basic maintenance, inspections, and housekeeping to support plant reliability. Adjust plant settings and material flow to maintain product quality. Identify and communicate equipment or process issues promptly. Follow all safety procedures and support a strong safety-first culture.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate and monitor industrial equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with commitment to maintaining product quality.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks and work in varying environmental conditions.
  • Proactive communicator who works well independently and with a team.
  • Safety-focused mindset with consistent adherence to safe work practices.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, reach, bend, and lift materials or equipment as needed to perform job duties.
  • Capability to work in physically demanding conditions, including extended periods of equipment operation and movement across uneven terrain.
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
