Night Shift LPN/RN
About The Position
Circleville Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and skilled Night Shift Nurse (LPN or RN) to join their long-term care team. This role is for the night shift, from 6 PM to 6 AM. The ideal candidate will bring clinical excellence, a calm presence, and a sense of humor to overnight care. The position involves providing direct nursing care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring residents, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also emphasizes being a source of comfort and reassurance to residents during the night.
Requirements
- Current Ohio RN or LPN license
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- Compassion, patience, and professionalism
- Dependability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments accurately
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes
- Collaborate with CNAs, providers, and fellow nurses
- Keep documentation accurate and up to date
- Be a reassuring presence for residents during the night
