About The Position
Viking Aggregates is seeking a Night Shift Mobile Equipment Operator to safely operate a front-end loader in a sand pit/quarry environment. This role is essential to keeping production moving by loading trucks, maintaining stockpiles, and supporting plant operations.
Requirements
- Loader or heavy equipment experience
- Experience in aggregates, quarry, mining or construction
- Ability to work safely around truck and other equipment
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Reliable and dependable with strong attendance
- Team player with good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Operate a front-end loader safely and efficiently
- Load customer and company trucks to proper weight/specifications
- Feed hoppers, conveyors, and crushers
- Build and maintain stockpiles
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance (greasing, fueling, cleaning)
- Keep work areas clean and control spillage
- Work with plant and pit crews to maintain production flow
