About The Position
EMR USA has an opening for a Night Shift Equipment Operator. In this role, the Equipment Operator will operate a material handler or excavator to move metal throughout the yard. To be successful, the Equipment Operator must be able to work independently to accomplish daily tasks. This will be 2nd shift with average schedule of 4PM-2AM.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in all elements such as rain, cold, and heat
- Ability to handle stressful situations, manages time, and multitasks
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, physical, and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience using a material handler and/or excavator a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate material handler and/or excavator to move material
- Complete all required daily equipment reports
- Perform daily maintenance and inspection on equipment
- Adhere to operating and health and safety protocols
- Performs other duties as assigned.
