About The Position

The sanitation employee, under direction of the Sanitation Supervisor, is to keep assigned areas of the facility clean and orderly; and to perform related duties as required. To perform manual labor and a variety of duties relative to assigned area of responsibility.

Requirements

Must be able to work in wet, cold or hot environments.
Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Must be able to follow safety precautions and procedures.
Must have basic knowledge of how to handle and operate cleaning equipment, process equipment, and chemical equipment.
Must be able to perform physical work such as standing, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
To adhere to all company policies and to act as a role model in the adherence to company policies.
Must be able to read and follow areas of assigned duties on the Master Cleaning Schedule.
Ability to work in a team.
Ability to work with little direct supervision.
Formal or informal training to ensure the ability of successful job performance.

Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices.
Complete in-house chemical training.
