About The Position

The Night Rider is responsible for vehicle checks, completing equipment paperwork, staying in communication with the Lead Night Rider, and relocating between harvest locations throughout the season. This role requires working six days a week across all shifts, maintaining strong teamwork and professionalism, reliable attendance, and completing additional tasks assigned by the Transportation Manager.

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Certification to move harvest equipment
• One year of experience moving harvest equipment
• Clean driving record.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible to work in any assigned area.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to travel between Salinas, Yuma, Bard, and other assigned locations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle checks as required.
• Complete necessary paperwork for equipment as required.
• Maintain constant communication with Lead Night Rider.
• Relocate between Tanimura & Antle's harvesting operations: Tres Picos, California from mid-October through mid-November; Yuma, Arizona from mid-November through mid-April; and, Salinas, California from about mid to late April through mid-October, depending on the production season, which is affected by weather, plant quality, labor supply, and business necessity.
• Able to work at least six days a week and all shifts, including late night (graveyard) shift.

• Must have reliable, predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Transportation Manager.
