About The Position

The Temporary Night Porter works Monday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and is paid $14.00 per hour. The position performs cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the utility building, including restrooms, hallways, offices, break rooms, meeting rooms, and common areas. The porter works as part of a self-directed crew, follows safety and site rules, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Work as part of a self-directed crew.
• Attention to detail.
• Must comply with all safety and site rules.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms throughout the utility.
• Sweep hallways and offices.
• Wipe down desks, computers, and TVs.
• Wipe down glass doors and window trim.
• Clean the break room, including microwaves, coffee pots, and dishes.
• Vacuum carpeted hallways and clean offices.
• Clean and sanitize drinking fountains.
• Collect all garbage and recycling in the building.
• Vacuum mats, hallways, meeting rooms, and offices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
