Night Pharmacist Full Time
About The Position
As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will help deliver accessible, high-quality care and support patients through prescription guidance and patient care programs. You will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and oversee pharmacy operations, including patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel, inventory, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management. You will lead with empathy, develop your support staff, identify business opportunities, implement solutions, adapt to a dynamic community healthcare setting, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a caring and high-performing team culture.
Requirements
- Hold an active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
- Not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Have Immunization Certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
- Be free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
Responsibilities
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
- Support management, oversight, and operation of pharmacy activities, including patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to help keep customers and patients healthy.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by assigning work to use strengths and address development opportunities and knowledge gaps.
- Identify business opportunities and contribute to solutions that drive growth and improve pharmacy performance.
- Lead the team in implementing solutions and achieving specified goals.
- Adapt plans to changes in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
- Collaborate with others and seek ways to improve outcomes.
- Align others around shared purpose and contribute to a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Apply acquired knowledge to drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors.
