Drives around a specified geographic area to locate and report sign/lighting outages or other service issues. The role involves surveying repair and service needs of sign and lighting components, documenting outages with pictures and notes, locating signs on a map, determining outage locations, estimating the size and characteristics of outages, reporting findings to a supervisor, and relaying information to other departments, store managers, and owners. The position also requires determining and planning the best traveling routes for efficient surveying, maintaining records and logbooks, and performing cleaning and preventative maintenance on company vehicles if provided. Marginal duties include assisting the Night Patrol Supervisor, drawing maps for technicians, delivering parts, and performing other necessary functions.
