Drives around a specified geographic area to locate and report sign/lighting outages or other service issues. This role involves surveying repair and service needs of sign and lighting components, documenting outages with pictures and notes, locating signs on a map, determining outage locations, estimating outage/service issue characteristics, and reporting findings to a supervisor. The specialist will relay information to other departments, store managers, and/or owners, and determine the best traveling routes for efficient surveying. Responsibilities also include maintaining records and logbooks, and performing operator maintenance on company vehicles if provided. Marginal duties may include assisting the Night Patrol Supervisor, drawing maps, delivering parts, and performing other necessary functions.
