As a Night Operator, you will be accountable for the inspection, operation, and maintenance of central production facilities, including treatment, storage, and compression systems, water injection pumps, associated equipment, and utility support systems such as chemical injection units. The role primarily involves working 12-hour overnight shifts on a rotating schedule (e.g., 7 days on / 7 days off). Work is performed independently and is guided by operational priorities related to your area of expertise, designated routes, and assigned geographic areas. This position requires the ability to drive and work alone while traveling throughout your assigned region. Responsibilities include performing operational tasks, troubleshooting equipment, and completing basic maintenance on well pads and lease roads. You will test, monitor, and optimize oil and gas production rates, which requires accurate data collection, analysis, and interpretation. You may act as Magnolia’s on-site representative during third-party service activities within your assigned area and are expected to provide HSER leadership during these operations. A working knowledge of all systems and responsibilities associated with your area of expertise is essential. The role places a strong emphasis on promptly responding to alarms and maintaining production at Magnolia’s highest volume-producing facilities.
