About The Position

The Night Operations Team Lead strives to meet store and night operation team goals by ordering, stocking, and merchandising products for general department shelves, displays, and merchandisers. This role requires a responsible, friendly individual who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Directing night crew personnel to meet general department service level and merchandising goals and objectives.
• Communicating directly with the store director and merchandising manager.
• Ordering general department products (grocery, non-foods, HBC, frozen foods, and liquor) to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Stocking and merchandising general department products according to sales and merchandising department standards.
• Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members.
• Engaging with customers through smiles, greetings, offering product information, providing selling suggestions, and expressing genuine thanks.
• Unloading trailers, receiving merchandise, auditing received merchandise, and breaking down/positioning cases of product in the warehouse, sales floor, or walk-in cooler.
• Keeping shelves full and facing/building attractive floor, aisle, and front-end displays.
• Monitoring product pricing, signage, and placement, and properly using product shelf tags and signage.
• Keeping work areas and warehouses clean, neat, and orderly, including well-swept floors.
• Stocking dated perishable products and rotating them as necessary to ensure quality and safety.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
