This role is responsible for leading the night operations department, ensuring operational excellence, and continuous improvement. The supervisor will oversee back-end operations such as receiving and stocking inventory, assembling product, controlling freight flow, and delivery staging. A key aspect of this role is ensuring that back-end operations do not negatively impact the customer's ability to shop the store. The supervisor will also act as the Manager-on-Duty (MOD) during the overnight shift, providing full leadership over the store, driving engagement, customer service, staffing, and operational efficiency. This includes walking the store, observing interactions, providing coaching, ensuring associates are prepared, managing staffing for customer traffic, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The MOD is responsible for handing off shift observations and funneling non-MOD activities to appropriate leaders.
