About The Position
This is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible for loading products for customers and route trucks. The role involves operating powered equipment, picking and organizing orders, and ensuring efficient loading practices. Additionally, the position includes maintaining a clean work environment and reporting any equipment issues.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Report to work at assigned times, Monday through Friday, with potential variations during holiday periods.
- Check in with supervisor for daily tasks and special assignments.
- Operate assigned powered equipment, performing pre-use inspections for defects and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Pick palletized bulk orders for customers and place them in the designated checkout area.
- Build pallets for route trucks, ensuring products are visible to the driver.
- Return powered equipment to its assigned area upon completion of loading.
- Ensure equipment requiring charging is properly connected.
- Report any defects or issues with equipment to the supervisor.
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks.
- Conclude work after all presold product has been loaded and cleaning is completed.
