About The Position

Responsible for the safe and efficient operations, monitoring and maintenance preparation of wells, processing units and related facilities. This position requires a strong focus on oil, gas and water separation facilities operations along with major utilities and secondary expertise in all operations. This is a large project, which includes not only on-site facility start-up but also utilization of operating tools, procedures, work-permitting and training. Candidates with experience in new facilities startup and operations are very desirable. Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected.

Requirements

• 1+ years of Lease Operator experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
• Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
• Understanding of environmental and safe work practices.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates with experience in new facilities startup and operations are very desirable.

Responsibilities

• Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection, and water disposal.
• Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection and metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).
• Job is to be performed by employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.
• Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.
• Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.
• Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatory agencies.
• General housekeeping and field maintenance.
