About The Position

The Night Lead oversees overnight lodge operations, ensuring guest safety, security, and comfort. This role responds to emergencies, conducts security checks, manages nightly reporting, and resets the lodge for the next day. The pay rate will be $25.99/hr. This position works a consistent overnight schedule of Sunday night through Wednesday night, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. The Wednesday shift concludes Thursday morning. Candidates must be comfortable working independently throughout overnight hours. Overnight security is onsite. The Night Lead partners with security while monitoring lodge operations, internal safety, cameras, and guest needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in hotel, hospitality, healthcare or a related field, with knowledge of overnight operations, guest services, and night auditing procedures.
  • Knowledge of security and emergency response procedures
  • Ability to work independently during overnight hours
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to remain productive with limited direct supervision
  • Excellent guest-service skills, including patience and empathy when interacting with patients and caregivers

  • Additional education or training in hospitality management, security, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and address guest needs during overnight hours (25%)
  • Conduct security patrols and enforce safety protocols (20%)
  • Respond to emergencies and coordinate with staff or emergency responders (20%)
  • Complete nightly reports, reconcile check-in data, and manage room inventory (15%)
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and readiness (10%)
  • Launder linens and reset common areas for the next day (10%)
  • Assist with early-morning guest transportation coordination, data integrity and file review, operational reporting, water-quality testing, and preparing unfinished administrative work for the next shift.
