About The Position

Imperial Dade is seeking a Night Jockey to join their Transportation team in Jessup. This role is crucial for the continuous growth of the business. The Yard Jockey will be responsible for driving trailers and box trucks from the central warehouse to the annex building and from docks to parking spaces. Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Clear MVR
• A valid commercial driver’s license
• 1+ years of recent CDL A experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Ability to work in any weather condition, as most work is completed outdoors

Nice To Haves

• Route delivery experience
• Manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial motor vehicles on premises, from 24' box trucks to 53' trailers
• Transport empty trucks and loaded trucks
• Inspect vehicles before and after moving
• Report damage
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks
• Assist in the warehouse
• Pick up and drop off trucks from vendors
• Collaborate with coworkers
