As a Night Houseman at the Grove, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our public spaces spotless and guest-ready throughout the night, ensuring a welcoming environment for every guest at any hour.

Requirements

Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Willingness to work overnight hours and maintain productivity with minimal supervision.
Excellent guest service and communication skills.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of lobbies, hallways, linen closets, public restrooms, and other assigned areas.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, maintaining a positive and helpful demeanor at all times.
Review nightly assignment sheets, update completed tasks, and check with supervisors for additional duties.
Clean and organize storage closets, remove trash and debris from public areas, and reposition furniture as needed.
Dust and polish surfaces, including furniture, woodwork, frames, fixtures, light switches, phones, and planters.
Wash windows, clean mirrors, and spot-clean walls, doors, and baseboards.
Maintain public restrooms by restocking supplies, removing buildup, and sanitizing surfaces.
Transport room service trays and other items left in hallways to designated areas.
Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost and found items to supervisors.
Safely operate and clean housekeeping equipment and vacuum cleaners.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
