About The Position

The Night Field Operator is responsible for maintaining assigned leases during night operations. This role requires strong flowback and lease operating experience, with the ability to understand full facility flow paths, troubleshoot and resolve equipment alarms, and maintain production continuity with limited supervision. Candidates must be self-starters who can diagnose issues through remote surveillance tools and develop a corrective action plan prior to arriving onsite.

Requirements

• 5–7 years minimum Oil & Gas industry experience
• Strong flowback experience
• Strong lease operating experience
• Experience maintaining tank batteries and production facilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• High School Diploma required
• Strong understanding of oil & gas facility flow paths
• Familiar with general oil & gas production operations
• Meets company safety and technical training roadmap requirements
• Knowledge of Operations Integrity critical competencies
• Competent with Microsoft Office
• Competent with Email communication
• Competent with Computer surveillance/monitoring systems
• Safety-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-focused
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability
• Self-starter mindset

Nice To Haves

• Night operations experience preferred
• Associate’s degree or technical training preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned leases during night operations
• Understand complete flow path of oil & gas production facilities
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment alarms
• Diagnose issues using remote surveillance systems
• Develop action plans prior to site arrival
• Multitask between multiple issues while keeping production online
• Maintain detailed operational logs and shift notes
• Follow Permit To Work System (PTWS) procedures
• Promote and adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental standards
• Support teamwork between shift personnel
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills
