Night Driver/Warehouse Associate
About The Position
Mygrant Glass, established in 1926, is the largest independent wholesale distributor of automotive glass in the United States. Our success is built on unparalleled inventory, an extensive warehouse network, and uncompromising quality standards. We are seeking a Night Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service through prompt and courteous deliveries, picking up products, performing warehouse assignments, and assisting customers while upholding the highest standards of safety and accuracy. The ideal candidate will represent Mygrant Glass professionally both in the warehouse and in the field.
Requirements
- Pass an MVR check
- Safely and competently operate forklifts, reach trucks, pickers
- 3-5 years of driving and delivery experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Be organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and adaptable to warehouse environments
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team, and/or take direction in an ever-changing working condition
- Valid driver’s license required
- 2+ years driving or equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- CMVDOT Medical card preferred
Responsibilities
- Availability for evening delivery routes.
- Unload inventory from incoming vehicles and inspect for damage.
- Process and stock inventory.
- Pick correct product and quantities for orders.
- Load racks and trucks with glass.
- Clean glass, assess stock for damage, and affix proper labels.
- Follow delivery route and time schedules to deliver product and receive returns.
- Process/record payments and input data into the ordering system.
- Safely operate the delivery vehicle.
- Receive and process return stock.
- Complete logs and documentation.
- Communicate with team leaders for timely and accurate deliveries.
- Break down boxes, stock accessories, organize inventory, and perform other warehouse duties.
- Interact with and assist customers during delivery.
- Perform other job tasks as assigned.
