About The Position

ServiceFM LLC is seeking dependable and detail-oriented part-time Night Custodians to support daily custodial and cleaning operations at a mission-driven community services facility in the Midtown Nashville area. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and community members. Ideal candidates are proactive, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and safety.

Requirements

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is required
• Consistent and reliable attendance, with strong punctuality
• Must successfully pass a background check to work around children and vulnerable adults.
• Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks, including walking, bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 pounds, pulling, and pushing
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer service mindset
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Able to accurately track and log work hours using a smartphone or mobile device

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial duties, including cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including dining halls, elevators, kitchens, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, offices, stairwells, and building entrances.
• Clean, organize, and maintain pantry and storage areas.
• Perform floor and carpet care as needed.
• Assist with securing building entrances during assigned shifts and promptly report any safety, maintenance, or security concerns.
