About The Position

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking a Full-Time Night Custodian for the Renaissance Charter School at Chickasaw. CSUSA is a leading education management company dedicated to student success. Requirements

Minimum high school graduate.
A minimum of 1 year of janitorial trade experience.
Must possess the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned interior areas including hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and multi-purpose rooms.
Clean assigned exterior areas including the school building perimeter, parking lot, playground, and windows.
Empty trash from all trash receptacles.
Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), window sills, and air vents.
Clean and sterilize restroom facilities.
Clean up bodily messes including vomit, feces, urine, and blood in accordance with training.
Remove waste from the cafeteria after breakfast and lunch services.
Assist with cleaning cafeteria tables.
Maintain cafeteria floors at an acceptable clean level.
Sterilize all high-use areas to reduce the spread of bacteria and harmful agents.
Assist the Head Custodian with cleaning projects and tasks.
Assist with the creation and implementation of building preventative maintenance processes and monitoring systems.
Travel may be required to nearby schools or warehouse/storage.
Participate successfully in training programs to enhance skills and proficiency.
Review current developments and literature related to job responsibilities.
Ensure adherence to OSHA and maximum safety procedures.
Perform other duties as delegated by the Supervisor.
Follow federal and state laws, as well as company policies.
Always carry a hand-held radio while on school property if assigned by the Supervisor.
Remain on school property from the beginning to the end of the workday, including lunch.
Report and assist with all emergency situations as needed.
Do not leave campus to run errands without permission from the Facilities Supervisor.
