About The Position

The Night Custodian position at Conger Elementary School is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and keeping the building and grounds in a condition of operational excellence, cleanliness, and safety so full educational use is always available. This is a part-time, non-exempt position working 2 hours per day for 190 days a year.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Complete the cleaning schedule for the areas assigned within the appropriate amount of time.
• Assist with necessary building maintenance and grounds maintenance as assigned by the Head Custodian.
• Use equipment in the building as needed (buffers, mowers, etc.).
• Assist with set up for extra curricular activities (assemblies and other programs).
• Other duties as assigned.
