This position is for a Night Custodian Lead for the Winter 26.27 Seasonal period. The role involves creating amazing guest experiences by providing clean and sanitary facilities. Professional cleaning experience is preferred, and ski/snowboard experience at an intermediate ability level is a plus. Requirements

  • Professional cleaning experience preferred
  • Employment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
  • Communicate both verbally and non-verbally in a positive, guest friendly manner
  • Report to work timely, dressed, and prepared for your daily assignment
  • Adhere to all safety policies
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s Service Excellence standards.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate verbally in the English language
  • Must be a minimum 18 years of age
  • Safely lift approximately 30-50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Run a vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time
  • Walk, bend over, and stand for long periods of time

Nice To Haves

  • Ski/Snowboard experience at an intermediate ability level is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Vacuum, dust, mop Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation’s office buildings, restaurants, public restrooms and childcare centers.
  • Stock supplies in janitorial closets
  • Empty all trash and recycling receptacles
  • Sanitize and disinfect surfaces
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
  • Must have a Valid Driver's license and be insurable to drive SSRC company vehicles
  • Act as MOD in the absence of the department supervisor or manager
  • Lead teams in their nightly rounds, assigning duties in each location to ensure maximum labor productivity.
  • Adjust and adapt to location scheduling changes as needed each night as driven by guest and staff volume in the various locations.
  • Act as key-holder for all locations and closets
  • Provide feedback in the form of texts, emails or handwritten notes to supervisor, manager or director on observations and supply needs about each location.
  • Other duties as assigned
