About The Position

Night Crew Clerks work overnight to prepare the grocery sections of the store for the next day's business. They receive, store, and stock products; maintain product rotation and quality; create and maintain displays; and keep shelves neat, stocked, and fronted. They also handle returns, product damages, and recalls according to company policy and perform cleaning and general housekeeping to maintain a safe, orderly store environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry stock, push carts, and organize shelves in a physically demanding environment.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a stocker or retail position.

Responsibilities

Unload products and store them in designated locations.
Stock shelves, place products appropriately, and rotate items using FIFO to maintain freshness and quality.
Build and maintain product displays.
Check expiration dates and handle damaged or recalled products according to company policy.
Front shelves, keep them stocked, and return misplaced products to their proper locations.
Sweep and mop assigned floors, including aisles, break rooms, and storage areas.
Clean up spills, trash, and other messes as needed.
Return products to their correct shelf locations and complete returns according to store policy.
Follow store safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning materials and equipment.
Perform other housekeeping duties and tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
