This posting is for a part-time, non-benefited, non-exempt position for a night shift counselors. The Horsemanship School Night Counselor oversees the students during evening and night hours and is responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students. The Horsemanship School Night Counselor also works with other staff to facilitate the flow of the evening activities and to assist with any arising issues. The Horsemanship School Night Counselor will gain experience to help further their abilities in a communication related field. The Horsemanship School Night Counselor will also develop leadership and communication skills valuable in most professional fields. The Horsemanship School Night Counselor is able to solve issues involving students and their relationship with their peers. The Horsemanship School Night Counselor demonstrates ability to listen and to console youth if the situation deem necessary. The Horsemanship School Night Counselor must conduct themselves in a professional manner, yet make the experience fun and enjoyable for the youth. The Horsemanship School Night Counselor is able to explain specific directions.
