NIGHT COOK (SEASONAL)
About The Position
We are hiring immediately for seasonal NIGHT COOK positions. This role involves preparing food in accordance with established standards and ensuring quality food service is provided at all times. The position is located at Dominion Millstone - 314 Rope Ferry Road, Waterford, CT 06385. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full and part-time, with operating hours from October-November being 7 days a week until 11 pm. Shifts start between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm, and days may vary. More details will be provided upon interview. Eurest is recognized worldwide for its standards of service and excellence within the foodservice industry.
Requirements
- Experience required.
- Must be able to multitask and work efficiently and at a fast pace.
Responsibilities
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
- Serves meals and prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, and ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and arranged nicely.
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked during service periods.
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat and ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
- Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
- Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
- Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
