Requirements

• Compliance with all applicable state and federal requirements for commercial motor vehicle drivers of applicable gross motor vehicle weight rating, including holding a valid DOT medical card.
• Pass an MVR check.
• Safely and competently operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pickers.
• 3-5 years of driving and delivery experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and adaptable to warehouse environments.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and take direction in ever-changing working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Availability for evening delivery routes.
• Unload inventory from incoming vehicles, inspect for damage, and process/stock inventory.
• Pick correct product and quantities for orders and/or transfers, and load racks and trucks with glass.
• Follow delivery route and time schedules to deliver product and receive returns, process/record payments, and input data into the ordering system.
• Clean glass, assess stock for damage, and affix proper labels.
• Safely operate the delivery vehicle, up to 26,000 pounds GVWR.
• Receive and process return stock.
• Complete logs and documentation.
• Communicate with team leaders for timely and accurate deliveries.
• Break down boxes, stock accessories, and organize inventory as directed.
• Interact with and assist customers during delivery and at will call.
• Assist in maintaining the appearance of the branch, including cleaning the warehouse and counter area.
• Perform other job tasks as assigned.
